This section outlines the key operational processes and ownership responsibilities that govern data management, access, and campaign execution within the C360 platform.


1. Data Write Operations

  • All data write processes — including data ingestion, transformation, and updates — are owned and managed by Nissan Digital.
  • This central ownership ensures consistent data quality, security, and compliance across the platform.

2. Data Steward Access & Responsibilities

  • ADO Data Stewards have read-only access to data stored in Snowflake.
  • They are authorized to manage customer privacy preferences, including opting customers out of Ataccama in accordance with CCPA regulations.
  • However, ADO Data Stewards do not have permissions to delete customer records; such operations are restricted to Nissan Digital to maintain data integrity and compliance.

3. Data Access Control

  • Access to C360 data is granted strictly on a case-by-case basis.
  • Requests for data access follow an approval process involving data governance and security teams to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Campaign Creation Workflow

  • When creating marketing or outreach campaigns, data stewards define the targeting criteria based on business requirements.
  • These criteria are handed off to the RTB (Run The Business) team, which performs the data extraction and campaign implementation.
  • All campaign executions and data operations are supervised by Nissan Digital to ensure consistency and governance adherence.
